Enjoy six nights in Ireland with the whole family in a charming farmhouse in County Donegal. "Hilltown" is a historic, recently renovated, traditional farmhouse plus additions, stable and farm buildings on 50 acres of actively farmed land. The home sleeps up up to ten with four bedrooms, two baths and powder room. The home has been modernized top to bottom while striving to retain the charm and feel of a traditional Irish farmhouse. The house is located on a hillside with panoramic views of long, green, drumlin hills at the head of the Donegal Bay. These hills in turn are framed by the Blue Stack Mountains some 15 miles distant. You may arrange your 6-night stay between September 2023 and May 2024, based on availability. Hilltown is located in County Donegal in northwestern Ireland, 12 miles from Donegal Town (population 3,000) that offers a variety of eateries and shops. Hilltown is the family home of NJHC's Board President David Budd who has generously donated this stay to our auction. IMPORTANT: Rental car companies in Ireland will NOT rent to American drivers who are 70 years old or older. As per the homeowner, one can NOT depend on public transportation in County Donegal.
