A ride in our WWII 1943 AT-6 Texan Trainer plane is a ride you will always treasure and may be an item you check off of your bucket list! The AT6 Texan was called the "Pilot Maker" during WWII, because it was so hard to learn to fly. Pilots that could fly the T-6 could fly pretty much anything! Makes a great gift for any occasion! What are you waiting for??? (This ride is deemed a medium intensity ride) Important Info Bookings will be based on plane and pilot availability so have several dates in mind when you email. REQUIREMENTS FOR RIDERS: The rider must be at least 12 years of age and physically able to climb in and out of the aircraft under their own power. All riders must sign a Hold Harmless Waiver (riders between 12 and 17 must have the waiver signed by a parent or guardian.) Notes: Arrive 15 – 30 minutes prior to ride for your briefing with the Pilot, and waiver signing. PROVIDED: Ear Protection - Head set (provided or bring your own).
A note from The Farm Way Sanctuary : Our annual Mike Kavanuagh Memorial Sporting Clay Shoot is including an online auction this year to help raise even more in support of the Southern Heritage Air Foundation & 7 Days for the Troops.
You can bid on trips, experiences, whiskeys, wines, toys, autographed books and more! Many from Veteran Owned Businesses too!
All auction proceeds will go directly to support these 2 Non-Profits. Thank you to all of the generous donors!
We greatly appreciate all of the participants and guests who are supporting these important programs, and we wish you good luck with your bids!
